I’m studying for my Film class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

What is 5G?

5G networks represent the next generation of mobile Internet connectivity. It will offer ultra-high bandwidth as well as more reliable connections with smartphones and other devices. It will be at least 100 times — and as high as 1,000 times — faster than 4G, allowing for high-resolution movies to be downloaded in mere seconds.

This module response is centered around the current debate regarding 5G Wireless implementation: the potential health concerns to humans (and animals, and other biological organisms within our ecosystem), and other possible wellbeing consequences and implications of this embedded connectivity.

Should we be concerned about the effects of 5G implementation on our health?

If so, why? If not, why not?

You are going to write an Op-Ed (Opinion Editorial) answering this question. You must take a stand yes or no. You’ll need to provide support of your standpoint, argument and assertions, so include one course reading (your choice/any module) and two outside sources. Your outside sources can be academic (peer reviewed) or non-academic (media article), bur remember that academic sources are more ‘legitimate’ and credible than media articles.

Convince us (your graders) of your opinion!

Be careful that you’re not ‘excusing’ any proposed health risks because of the greater ‘benefits’ that 5G implementation offers – your arguments need to make sense and stick to a standpoint.
