Creative Brief

Assignment: Write a creative brief similar to those discussed in class for a prospective client using one of the suggestions listed below. Include chosen venue, decor ideas, entertainment, food & beverage selections, etc. Keep in mind this is a creative business proposal, so spelling and grammar reflect on your professionalism and attention to detail.

Group Parameters and Event Choices:

Size: 250 people

Venue: Your choice, suitable to your group and theme. Research a venue in the lower mainland.

Event: Your choice of A, B, or C listed below

  1. Conference Welcome Evening. The International Society of Dog Groomers will be welcoming their guests from around the world to Vancouver. You will be organizing an evening that shows off Canada with a Canadian theme. It is up to you how you wish to interpret and present that theme.

  1. Awards Dinner. In November, The Big Green Sporting Supply Company will have its top sales people in Vancouver and you will be organizing an evening with dinner and awards. The theme should be one that is about “Celebration” and how you wish to interpret that.
  1. Fundraising Gala Dinner. The BC Wild Bird Foundation has determined they need to raise $150,000 for an upcoming campaign. The theme can be anything suitable to this group.
