I’m stuck on a Health & Medical question and need an explanation.

Resources that are beneficial for nonacute care for cardiorespiratory issues are many and can vary. After a person experiences a cardiorespiratory event, it is important that patients partake in inpatient physical and occupational therapies to prevent further deterioration. A great example of this is cardiac rehabilitation. This is a program that is used to help people that have heart problems or surgery get better and recover to a healthy state. It includes a health evaluation, specific needs and limitations, and an individualized plan to follow for exercise and strengthening. Other resources for cardiorespiratory issues are nursing support, counseling, and activity and diet education. A nutritionist may educate a patient on a heart healthy diet, which often consists of foods low in cholesterol, trans fat, and saturated fat.
