Plan to Assess an Existing Curriculum Program /Curriculum Issue – Assessment on student’s affairs
Here's What You'll Learn
ToggleYou have been working since the class started towards this assignment. Which is your plan of
Assessment on student’s affairs. You started in Week 1 by identifying a curriculum issue you wanted
to develop a plan to assess (Assessment on student’s affairs). It can include surveys, questionnaires,
staff development, educational profiles, technology, program reviews for civic engagement or
international experience, student affairs, or an appropriate topic you choose. You explored research
studies relevant to your topic and critiqued two articles that included relevant examples. You
researched scholars contributing to the theory(ies) you identified as most relevant to your
topic(Vygotsky’s theory of constructivism, Bruner’s theory). Through the next two modules, you
honed your analytical skills while you examined case studies. Over the course of the modules, using
resources presented in Diamond (2008) and Banta, Jones, & Black (2009), you developed a proposal
for your own assessment plan of the curriculum issue you identified. Then as an expert in the area,
you peerreviewed a plan developed by your colleagues, while simultaneously perfecting your own
benchmark project for presentation.
Within your project you will present:
1.Summary of the situation
2.Identification of issue to be assessed
3.Literature review of relevant studies or processes.
4.Plan needed detailing all aspects.
5.Inclusion of relevant questionnaires, or surveys as needed for the project.
Your project will probably be 5225words, exclusive of title page and the reference page. You will
have an abstract at the beginning. You will include subdivisions as appropriate to your project. There
will be a minimum of eleven (11) references which are cited within the body of the project. You will
include a formal APA 6th ed. Reference page. Cite references correctly in APA 6th ed. format. DO NOT
take the word of EbscoHost for the citation.
