The Federal Trade Commission has primary responsibility to present false and misleading ads, while State Attorneys General and Better Business Bureaus may also help protect consumers.

- Discuss how consumer protection is aimed at bringing about disclosure, requiring the provision of information that a consumer would need to make informed purchasing decisions through the marketplace.
- Give an example a product where the regulations protected the consumer, explain how ethics played a part in this and cite your work.
