*Note: While used interchangeably, “gender” and “sex” are not the same term. Gender refers to an identification; aspects we associate as male or female. Sex refers to anatomy; the body parts one has. I have left the term “gender” in this statement because that is the original statement but please note that there is a difference so when you respond, you may want to discuss both aspects (gender and sex).
