Instructions: This assignment is allow you as student to device a piece of writing that can be
read out. Protocol for this assessment, in a contemporary assessment environment, is that you
also create either (1) a powerpoint or (2) a one page handout that you could give to an audience.
You need at least eight (8) references.
This assignment is to satisfy the requirements of an academic paper. However in this
presentation paper you are allowed to use first person, bullet points, numbers and graphs,
should you so chose to do.

Question 1: Describe the development of the concept of an “Australian Indigenous history”.

such great frustration for First peoples? As a consequence, what kind of implications did this
have for First People’s freedom and control of their land.

? Those who use power point can use pictures, graphs etc to inform the power point an
make it more visually interesting. The power point would need some text however some
that it can have maximum interest.
? Students who decide to generate a one page handout can use any kind of cartoons and
visuals they chose to use, but the handout would need some text to better inform any
audience or reader.
